founded in 1961, Ban Hin Bee (bhb) had its humble beginnings on Anson Road Penang. under the distinct leadership of mr. jimmy yeoh, the founder and managing director of bhb has progressed from a family-run bicycle shop to selling car stereo and accessories to selling black & white televisions and radios. today, bhb is one of the most profound image in Penang. more than 70 staffs under its roof to cater for the organization needs.

the iden challenge
bhb has been in the market for the last over 50 years. their brand image had grown dated in traditional conservative mode. the branding had been largely untouched for many years.
the main challenge for iden is to preserve bhb previous identity essence yet give it a new stronger brand identity proposition.
iden was asked to guide the company through a complete rebranding campaign from marketing strategy perspective, we created from mascot to build personality with powerful slogan, vibrant and energy corporate colour, furthermore the new image of bhb included all the marketing displays and advertisements and all things in between.
